Blue Bell kicks off statewide Lone Star Scoop Tour in March with free ice cream and cool merchandise giveaways
BRENHAM, Texas, February 23, 2026 – Blue Bell Creameries has a sweet announcement for its Texas fans! The 119-year-old company is bringing the Lone Star Scoop Tour to a city near you. You can guarantee there will be plenty of free Blue Bell Ice Cream and cool merchandise. The tour kicks off in March, with stops scheduled at various retail partners and community events throughout the year.
“The tour is designed to celebrate our amazing fans and retail partners across the Lone Star State,” said Lauren Lewis, Blue Bell public relations manager. “We want to give back to the communities that have supported us for more than 100 years.”
The first stop of the Tour will be at Fireman’s Park on March 1 in Brenham, the Ice Cream Capital of Texas, and home to Blue Bell. “We will begin the tour in our own backyard,” Lewis said. “We look forward to treating everyone to free ice cream following the Washington County Little League opening ceremonies.”
The tour will then head to San Antonio in a newly unveiled truck and trailer featuring colorful ice cream scoops and the iconic Blue Bell cow and girl logo. “You will know you are in the right place when you see our sweet setup,” Lewis added. “Our stops include Houston, Austin, Dallas, Lubbock, Laredo, and many more cities in between. Everyone is invited to join us for hand-dipped Blue Bell Ice Cream, frozen snacks and fun merchandise. We hope to see you there!”
