Blue Bell Ice Cream is expanding to Cincinnati in 2026

Blue Bell Creameries is excited to announce it will be expanding its distribution area to include Cincinnati, Dayton, and the surrounding cities in the spring of 2026.

“We’re excited to share that Blue Bell is on the way,” said Carl Breed, Blue Bell VP of sales and marketing.  “Blue Bell is sold in a very small portion of Ohio, but soon we will be bringing our ice cream to even more stores across the state. We plan to offer our full lineup of products, and we’ll provide additional details as we get closer to the official launch.”

Blue Bell is building a 16,000 sq. ft. distribution facility at 310 Homan Road in Lebanon, Ohio. No products will be manufactured on-site. However, the location will include a cold storage room to house the delicious frozen treats. Blue Bell utilizes direct store delivery, which means no one other than a Blue Bell employee handles the product from the time it is made until it reaches the store.

No store locations have been announced, but ice cream fans can expect to find Blue Bell at most major supermarkets and drugstores across the Cincinnati area.

The company will begin hiring in early 2026 for route delivery drivers, shipping/warehouse personnel and office positions.

Blue Bell Ice Cream is headquartered in Brenham, Texas, and all products are made at its three manufacturing facilities located in Texas, Oklahoma and Alabama. The 118-year-old company has a fanbase that reaches far beyond the 24 states where its products are sold.
