Blue Bell Creameries is celebrating its 100th
anniversary this year! Many fun and exciting
festivities are planned throughout 2007.

Activities include a traveling exhibit, a flavor naming contest, special anniversary
ice cream flavors, and to top it all off, a gigantic birthday party in July in Brenham,
Texas, home of Blue Bell for the past 100 years. In addition, several special projects
have already been revealed such as the Texas historical marker, a book about Blue
Bell, and an original painting by artist Benjamin Knox. Read on for more information

Special Events
Blue Bell 100 Years Tour
We will be rolling into a town near you in 2007 with our multi-vehicle exhibit appropriately
named the 100 Years Tour. The chocolate-colored 18-wheeler features imaginative
multi-media presentations of our history, how we make ice cream, a display of the
current lineup of Blue Bell products and much more. Click Here
Flavor Contest
In honor of our 100th anniversary, we kicked off a "Taste of the Country" flavor
contest in January, inviting consumers throughout our market area, to submit names
of ice cream flavors suggestive of their own state and local dessert traditions.

A Day in the Country
Everyone enjoyed the “A Day in the Country” celebration that took place July 19-21,
2007 at the Washington County Fairgrounds in Brenham, Texas. Click Here.
Centennial Flavors
In honor of the company’s 100 years in business, we have released two anniversary
ice cream flavors. Anniversary Cake Ice Cream and Century Sundae Ice Cream are now
available in stores. Both centennial flavors are packaged in specially designed
commemorative half gallon containers adorned with 100 candles. Click Here.
Historical Marker
A special dedication ceremony was held at Blue Bell Creameries in Brenham, Texas,
on February 15, to unveil the company’s Texas Historical Marker. The Texas Historical
Commission granted the marker in recognition of the company’s 100 years in business.

Blue Bell Painting
Benjamin Knox, a College Station, Texas, based artist, completed an original oil
painting to honor the company’s 100th Anniversary. The painting combines historical
